Summer may still be here, but at Incredible Oil, August means we’re already looking ahead. Our team is preparing for another Connecticut heating season, our 2026–27 budget program is getting underway, and we’re making sure we’re ready to serve our customers when colder weather arrives.
This time of year also brings another responsibility that means a great deal to our team: being prepared to help communities when severe weather strikes.
Our 2026–27 Budget Program Starts in August
We know heating expenses can take a bigger bite out of the household budget during a Connecticut winter. That’s one reason we offer our budget program—to make planning for your heating costs more manageable.
Rather than waiting until the coldest months of the year to think about heating expenses, the program provides an opportunity to plan ahead and make your fuel costs more predictable.
If you’re an Incredible Oil customer and have questions about the 2026–27 budget season, now is a great time to get in touch with us. Our team can explain your options and help you prepare before temperatures begin to fall.
Hurricane Season Is Also a Time to Be Ready
While we’re preparing for winter here at home, hurricane season is underway—and our team knows firsthand how quickly a major storm can change everyday life.
When hurricanes and other severe storms cause widespread power outages, access to fuel becomes an important part of keeping essential operations running and helping communities recover.
Over the years, Incredible Oil has participated in emergency hurricane relief efforts both here in Connecticut and out of state. We’ve worked in support of FEMA response efforts, sending our trucks and drivers where additional fuel resources are needed.
Our team has traveled as far as Florida to help communities affected by major storms.
Keeping Generators and Power Restoration Crews Moving
When the power goes out across a large area, generators can become a critical source of temporary power. But those generators can’t keep running without fuel.
That’s where fuel delivery companies like ours can play an important role.
During emergency response efforts, our trucks may be called upon to deliver fuel to generators that are keeping power running. We can also provide fuel to the utility and line trucks working long hours to repair damaged infrastructure and restore electricity.
It’s a different kind of delivery from the ones our customers see us making around Connecticut every day, but the goal is very much the same: get dependable fuel where it’s needed, when it’s needed.
Local at Heart, Ready to Help
We’re proud to be a local company. Our trucks are a familiar sight throughout the Connecticut communities we serve, delivering heating oil and propane to the homes and businesses that count on us.
But we’re also proud that when communities outside our area need help, our people and equipment can be part of the response.
Whether we’re making a routine delivery to a longtime customer here at home or sending a truck hundreds of miles away to help keep generators and restoration crews operating after a hurricane, we take that responsibility seriously.
Looking Ahead to the Season Together
For now, we hope everyone is enjoying the remaining days of summer. Behind the scenes, we’ll continue preparing for whatever the coming months bring.
If you’re thinking ahead to the 2026–27 heating season, our budget program begins in August. It’s a good time to review your options, prepare your home, and make sure you’re ready before Connecticut’s colder weather arrives.
And if hurricane season brings a call for help somewhere beyond our own neighborhood, Incredible Oil will be ready to do what we can.
That’s what being a local company means to us: taking care of our neighbors at home and lending a hand when other communities need one.
